Sintemar presents at Navalia the solution for insulating liquefied gas tanks in ships

20/04/2018

Sintemar will present during the next 2018 Navalia exhibition the solution for effectively supporting and insulating LNG fuel tanks which are used in ship sustainable propulsion.

During the next International Shipbuilding Exhibition which will be held in Vigo on 22nd, 23rd and 24th of May, Sintemar Technical Commercial Team will show how to avoid loss of refrigeration in Liquefied Natural Gas fuel tanks using a cryogenic resin.

Sintemar has a Phillymastic TG-7B based interface that effectively insulates the steel supporting structure of refrigerated tanks, thus maintaining the load at a stable temperature. This technique has been tested both in liquefied gas tank installations and in tanks for transporting chemical products which require ultra low temperatures such as ammonia, nitrogen or CO2 among others.

Please visit E30 stand to receive first-hand information on the applications and benefits of Phillymastic TG-7B resin, which can withstand temperatures as low as -165ºC.

Apart from this innovation, Sintemar will present its services regarding installation of propulsion shaft lines and steering systems and chocking of equipment with resins, and also its wide range of products and equipment for ships.
